DENTISTS: TYPES OF SEDATION PERMITS

Wyoming requires training for minimal and moderate sedation. The ADMA offers courses that satisfy these requirements.

To administer minimal sedation to patients, Wyoming requires completion of a board-approved course. The ADMA offers training that meets these requirements.

To obtain a moderate sedation permit, Wyoming requires a minimum of 60 hours of didactic instruction, 20 solo intubations, and the management of at least 20 moderate sedation cases. The ADMA offers training that meets these requirements.

DENTISTS: CE REQUIREMENTS TO MAINTAIN YOUR PERMIT

Wyoming dentists with sedation permits are required to complete 16 CE credit every 2 years. The ADMA offers CE courses that qualify for 10 CE credits per day of training. Find links to qualifying sedation CE courses below.
