Adult Oral Sedation Certification Course

(30 Didactic Hours / CE Credits) Courses are typically held on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8:00 am until 6:00 pm. Traditional and new oral sedation protocols are taught by field experts. Pharmacology, physiology, airway management, and patient screening are heavily emphasized in the core curriculum. In addition to interactive didactics, simulated case scenarios develop a safe, knowledgeable, and confident client. Our comprehensive sedation course is taught by a board certified anesthesiologist with 15 years of office sedation experience. Our training manual, written by our anesthesiologist, is derived from the University of Washington School of Medicine Anesthesia training program. We have designed a unique training model that ensures a low client to instructor ratio and is comprised of interactive didactics and simulated case scenarios. Our clients receive the highest quality of sedation training offered in the industry. We provide a post-course certification packet designed to exceed dental board requirements and facilitate a streamlined permitting process. At course completion, you will receive a diploma, certification packet, and a DVD of training materials and office sedation forms. Our training approach ensures the development of a safe, knowledgeable, and confident sedation dentist. *CA licensed dentists please reference unique CA state regulation link.
