The ADMA IV Sedation Certification Program
is designed for dentists in all 50 states. By adhering to small course volume, our training is individualized and ensures an optimal instructor to trainee ratio. You can expect to receive one-on-one training experiences with an anesthesiologist, sedation dentist, and CRNA in didactic and clinical settings. As an ADA CERP Recognized Provider, our courses meet and exceed the national Guidelines for Teaching Pain Control and Sedation.
The ADMA offers more
than just the necessary training to complete your state’s requirements for obtaining an IV sedation permit. Our state-of-the-art simulation manakin brings emergency response scenarios to life. Dentists that complete our course return to their practice as safe, confident, and well-equipped sedation practitioners. Our job isn’t complete until you have successfully received your permit; we work with you every step of the way to ensure your application process is successful. Upon completion of training, you will be assigned to one of our staff members to stay in contact with you and help you through the process of obtaining your permit.
Once your application is approved,
the ADMA will assist you in preparing for your on-site inspection from the board. Dr. Pickens, our senior instructor, will personally review your state’s requirements for office setup and equipment, emergency medicine, and anything else your state requires. Then, you can schedule a one-on-one conference with him to complete an office prep walkthrough. With our extensive experience in corresponding with site inspectors and dental boards, the ADMA will make sure you are well prepared to pass your on-site inspection.
The ADMA will also provide you with guidance in how to best obtain sedation equipment. We will also provide you with useful forms such as, consent forms, sedation flow sheets, narcotic logs, emergency procedure manuals, etc. that can be edited to fit your office’s needs. These recommendations and forms will help save you time and energy and remove some of the early struggles of implementing IV sedation into your office.
After you receive your permit
and have begun sedating patients in your office, the assistance of the ADMA never disappears. We will always provide answers to questions you may have whether it is a difficult sedation case to needing another copy of your CE documents. The ADMA staff is always here to take your call or email regardless of how many years it has been since you last trained with us. Graduates receive discounts on CE and recertification courses that help you maintain your permit in the years to come. We value each and every client that trains with us, and we are here to support you through your endeavors as a sedation dentist. Train with the sedation experts.
