To meet the rising demand for IV sedation permits, the ADMA now offers several training locations for dentists to achieve their clinical case requirements. The training offered at each of these clinics is unique, and all meet the ADA CERP National Guidelines for Moderate IV sedation training.

El Centro, California: This clinic features an overabundance of individual cases for dentists to establish a maximum amount of sedation case experience during the week of clinical training. High volume courses help learners fine-tune their sedation protocols in real time with numerous patient experiences.

McAllen, Texas: This is an exclusive location that offers opportunities for learners to experience intubation and LMA placement in live patients with the guidance of a dental anesthesiologist. Therefore, this course is in high demand and tends to fill very quickly as it is only offered once a year.

Spokane, Washington: This location offers a blend of live airway management and high-volume caseloads. Dentists become familiar with varied sedation protocols for short and long cases.

Monroe, Michigan: Students who attend training at this location learn to navigate sedation challenges and leave with the ability to sedate any patient confidently by the course’s end.

Due to our limited course size of 4 attendees, all of these locations offer training that is designed to meet state dental board requirements. It is your responsibility to understand your state-specific permit requirements. Upon successfully completing an ADMA IV Sedation Certification Course, you will be presented with official credentialing documents that satisfy both the ADA’s national recommendations. This satisfies state dental board requirements in 44 states. (We are currently not accepting applicants from Florida, Maine, Missouri, New York, Ohio & Nevada.) Get a guarantee from your training provider that the training you receive will meet your state’s regulatory requirements.
